Here are all the events and bonuses that NIANTIC has announced for the month of May 2022 in Pokémon GO. Among the most important news, there will be the possibility to cattrate Tapu Fini, MegaLatios and MegaLatias and a new widget.
The Alola Season will end at the end of May, and NIANTIC has made official all the events of the month. Until 20:00 local time on Sunday 1 May, Pokémon capable of Mega Evolving will appear more frequently in the wild, giving us the opportunity to accumulate a good number of candies.
Sunday 1 May, in the local time slot between 11:00 and 14:00 will be dedicated to the megaraids of MegaKangaskhan, with an increased shiny rate. MegaKangaskhan will continue to be featured in megaraids until May 3rd. From 3 to 10 May, in fact, we will find the highly anticipated legendary Megaraids: we will have the opportunity to capture MegaLatias and MegaLatios by obtaining megastones and, consequently, the possibility of making them mega evolve.
From 10 to 25 May, the megaraids will be dedicated to MegaBlastoise and, subsequently from 25 May to 1 June, to MegaAltaria. All the Pokémon mentioned so far will also be available in a chromatic version.
Pokemon Go: all the events of May 2022!
In the five-star raids, until May 3rd there will be Landorus Forma Totem. From 10 May until 1 June it will be possible to catch Tapu Fini for the first time. From May 25th to June 1st, all Tapu, legendary Alolan pokemon, will be present in the five-star raids at the same time, so those who still have to catch them or accumulate candies, can do so.
From 3 to 8 May, the event that will accompany us could bring Pikachu into Flight form.
During the Water Festival, from 12 to 20 May, Water-type Pokémon will be the big protagonists. From 25 to 31 May the Goodbye Alola event! will allow us to finally say goodbye (at least for the moment) to the Alola region.
Featured Pokémon hours will be dedicated to Wingull (May 3), Numel (May 10), Magikarp (May 17), Seel (May 24), and Pikipek (May 31). Geodude of Alola will be the protagonist of the Community Day of the month, which will take place on Saturday 21 May, while Grimer of Alola will appear as an encounter in the extraordinary discovery.
The companion widget will be available that will allow us to observe the status of our companion Pokémon without necessarily having to open the game.
