The Witcher 3 next gen moved to the end of this year, and more!

After the relationship with the Russian studio Saber Interactive broke due to the war in Ukraine, CD Projekt postponed The Witcher 3 reissue for next-gen. Development has been transferred to one of the internal teams, they have caught up and are now ready to discuss a new indicative date.

And this is the last quarter of this year, which can be any time from the beginning of October to the end of December, they said from the CD Project on the occasion of the seventh anniversary of the troika. "Let's make this 7th anniversary even better, shall we? We're delighted to share that the Next Gen version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is planned to release in Q4 2022.

See you on the Path, witchers!"

The remake of The Last of Us is almost complete

"The remake of The Last of Us is almost complete," Tom Henderson claimed earlier this year, and everyone else was repeating it, and now Jeff Grubb has come forward with new "I heard" information.

“I keep hearing it's coming out this year,” Grubb says on the Kinda Funny podcast. Jeff Grubb expects the release of The Last of Us remake later this year during the holiday season. This is the period with which several circumstances coincide.

Namely, some of the actors from the original are re-recording, testers from Naughty Dog include work on the "unannounced remake" in their CVs, and the circumstances are such that Sony does not have too much in the announcement until the end of this year.

The shooting of The Last of Us TV series is coming to an end, and the premiere is expected at the beginning of next year, so the remake, especially in that period, seems quite possible. As a reminder, Jason Schreier was the first to write about the remake of The Last of Us last year.

Development was reportedly started by Sony Bend Studio, the same one behind Days Gone, after which the baton was taken over by Naughty Dog. However, Sony has never officially confirmed or denied the existence of the project.

It’s not really clear to anyone how or why Sony approved this project. The Last of Us from 2013, and later the remaster for PS4 are still playing very well today. It is predicted that the remake will not actually bring much new, except that it will be recreated in the Part II engine.
