News has finally arrived for the month of July for Pokemon GO. The Pokémon GO 6th anniversary event will be dedicated to the 6th Pokémon of the Pokédex, Charizard. On the occasion of the game's birthday, Trainers from around the world will be able to participate in a global event taking place from 6 July 2022 at 10:00 local time.

The Pokémon GO team shared the first information on the event with a news published on the official website.
Field research will allow us to meet starters belonging to all generations up to the sixth.

As for the raids and info

One star: Pikachu with cake costume and Dratini.

Three stars: Venusaur, Charizard with holiday hat, Blastoise, Tyranitar and Metagross. Five stars: Zapdos. Megaraid: MegaCharizard X from Wednesday 6 July 2022 to Thursday 7 July 2022 and MegaCharizard Y from Thursday 7 July 2022 to Tuesday 12 July 2022.

From 00:00 on Saturday 9 July 2022 to 23:59 on Sunday 10 July 2022 local time there will be a special Fight Weekend which will have Giovanni and Latios shadow as protagonists. A special research will be available until the end of the GO season, i.e.

September 1, 2022 at 10:00 and will allow you to obtain the Rocket super radar, while during the event it will be possible to meet Geodude, Shinx, Purrloin and other Shadow Pokémon and various bonuses will be active: Team GO Rocket balloons will appear every three hours.

The maximum daily set limit of the GO Battle League will be 20. GO Battle League rewards will provide quadruple stardust. Using a TM Charged Attack will help a Shadow Pokémon forget the Frustration Charged Attack. Further information on the event dedicated to the 6th anniversary will be revealed only after having satisfied certain conditions for unlocking the ultra-bonus, probably on the occasion of the Pokémon GO Fest in Berlin.

During the event it will be possible to meet and evolve Charmander with a festive hat for the first time. Pikachu with cake costume will also be available. In addition, many other Pokémon as well, including Kanto and Kalos starter Pokémon.
