Ed Sheeran will sing Celestial song for Pokémon!

Ed Sheeran will be the protagonist of the song Celestial, as announced by The Pokémon Company. Last year, the Japanese company and the singer teamed up to bring a free virtual concert to Pokémon GO in November.

Sheeran is a big fan of Pokemon: in a tweet a few years ago the singer defined the game of the fifth generation Pokémon Black, as unfortunate. When he plays, Ed always chooses a Water-type starter. So, as part of the event, Water-type starters became more common and a Squirtle wearing a special type of sunglasses was made available in the game.

For now, there has been no indication that Sheeran will return to Pokémon Go or any other games in the series.
