Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher surprised players!

A deal seems to have been made between Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher in order to confuse their players about what is going on. If that is the case (which is very likely), there is no doubt that they are doing a great job. Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher are both set in worlds that are somehow related in some way.

Ciri is located in a futuristic world that is reminiscent of Night City, and there are a few interesting references that point to this, such as the fact that Ciri is in such a world that is described as being far from the night city.

There is now a deeper connection between the two - one that has a bit of mystery surrounding it.

The Witcher 3

There is a new quest in The Witcher 3 according to a recent update to the game, which has been found by players according to IGN.

It is during the course of this task that Geralt ends up in a place where he is faced with opponents whom he cannot defeat, as well as a mysterious symbol on the wall of the room. As of right now, no one is sure what exactly the symbol means, but there has been a suggestion that it has a direct connection to one of the unsolved cases from Cyberpunk 2077.

Even after two years, it seems that there is still a mystery in Night City which is connected to a set of numbers that appear throughout the game, which is called FF:06:B5. The mystery behind these numbers has been puzzled over by players for quite some time, but the answer to what these numbers have to do with has yet to be found.

The only thing we know about these numbers is that they are not just random numbers that unintentionally ended up in the game. Cyberpunk 2077's quest director stated in a recent interview that they are working on finding the answer to the mystery, but that the players have not yet been able to get there. Is there any chance they will be able to figure that out with the help of a new clue in the Witcher?
