I think it is safe to say that any doubt that there was a new Formula 1 game coming from EA Sports this year has been dispelled now. In the past few days, Electronic Arts have confirmed that the upcoming season of the real sport will be accompanied by F1 23, and that it will be a "fresh start".
In spite of that, they didn't provide any details about the game. All that we know is that it is going to be called F1 23 and this is the only information we have about it. Even so, we know that EA Sports has extended the partnership with champion Max Verstappen, so it would be reasonable to expect that he will have some role to play in promoting the game since EA Sports has already extended its partnership with the driver.
There is something to be said about the announcement of F1 23 being a bit earlier than some of the previous games in the series. I would not say that it implies anything, but it is very possible that the launch of the game could also take place earlier than expected, but it does not mean anything.
Anyhow, we do not believe that the game will be available for purchase this weekend, which is when the new Formula 1 season will kick off.
Atlas Fallen
During the Gamescom trade show last year, there was an announcement of the action RPG Atlas Fallen - along with one of those unpopular CG trailers.
In spite of the fact that we have seen a few screenshots of Atlas Fallen, including how the sand surf mechanic works, we know virtually nothing about this game beyond its basic premise - which is that you are fighting corrupt gods with ancient magic in order to destroy them.
Therefore, it is quite surprising to see that we have received a release date for the game - May 16th. There is not often that games that we have not seen in action have such a specific release date, but don't worry - we will still be able to check out the game before it launches.
It has been announced by the publisher Focus Interactive that the gameplay preview will be available within the next few days. There will be versions of the game available for the PC, Xbox Series, Playstation 5 and PlayStation 4 systems
