Last year, in the ninth month of the year, there was an announcement of a new game called Assassin's Creed Codename Red. There is not yet a concrete description of the gameplay of this game, as it is still in its development phase, but we are aware that it will be set in feudal Japan during the 18th century.

The team at Ubisoft Quebec, who created Odyssey, has also been given the task of working on this game. This is something we do not know yet. The rumor that Tom Henderson revealed for Insider Gaming suggests that this particular game has a lot of gameplay elements that can be compared to series such as Hitman and Splinter Cell.

The focus will be largely on sneaking in Red, since the game gives us the option to choose between being a samurai or a ninja, depending on which character we play. In terms of gameplay, we will work on improving hiding in the grass, hiding dead bodies, turning off the lights in order to prevent shadows from being seen, and similar things in that part.

DETAILS

In the second month of development, Henderson discovered that there would be two playable characters in Red. In the short trailer which accompanied the announcement, it appears to indicate that there will be a female playable character who will be a samurai.

It is believed that the ninja is a refugee from Africa who has made his way to Japan. With the game being developed by the same team that developed Odyssey, it is quite clear that we can expect a large open world and role-playing mechanics in the game as it is being developed by the same team.

Considering that the development process for Red is already in full swing, it is expected that this will be a title that will be available to both the older and newer generations of consoles at the same time. Infinity will be the platform for Assassin's Creed Red, a kind of Animus center where we will be able to play the separate multiplayer components of the AC games as well as other games.

It is estimated that the Order will leave the world in 2024 based on some internal forecasts. As of now, we are going to have to entertain ourselves with the upcoming Assassin's Creed Mirage game until then.
