A few years back, Sony took a significant step by collaborating with GOG to provide DRM-free versions of popular titles like Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition and Days Gone for PC. This initiative aimed to give gamers more flexibility and freedom in how they access and enjoy their favorite PlayStation Studios titles.

And now, this partnership is set to expand further, introducing even more DRM-free editions. GOG, the online game distribution platform known for its commitment to DRM-free gaming experiences, has recently unveiled that two iconic PlayStation Studios titles, God of War and Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, will soon become available on their platform.

These versions, like their predecessors, will be completely DRM-free. This means that players will have the option to download and install the games in the traditional manner or utilize the GOG Galaxy client for added convenience.

The collaboration between Sony and GOG continues to open up exciting possibilities for gamers

To sweeten the deal, GOG is currently hosting a Halloween sale that extends beyond the realm of horror games. Gamers can enjoy substantial discounts, with Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition and Days Gone both offered at a generous 67% off.

The sale encompasses thousands of titles and runs until November 1st, so there's plenty of time to explore and snag great deals on an array of games, including the highly acclaimed Cyberpunk 2077. If you're in the mood for a free gaming experience, GOG is also offering The Whisperer, a point-and-click game set in the backdrop of 19th-century Canada.

This provides an opportunity for gamers to not only enjoy renowned titles but also uncover hidden gems without any financial commitment. In essence, the collaboration between Sony and GOG continues to open up exciting possibilities for gamers, emphasizing the importance of accessibility and choice in the world of gaming.

With more DRM-free titles on the horizon, gamers can look forward to expanding their collections and enjoying these beloved games in their preferred way.
