Final Fantasy VII Remake, the long-awaited title that kept fans of the iconic original in anticipation for years, has finally been greeted with rapturous excitement. However, what followed, in the form of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, exceeded all expectations and set new standards for the series and the genre as a whole.

The first part of the trilogy, Remake, was spectacular by many standards. The graphics, the fights, the story - everything was at a high level, giving fans an experience worth waiting for. However, when Rebirth comes along, it becomes clear that the Remake was just a prelude to something even bigger and more impressive.

Rebirth is not just a continuation of the story, but an epic journey through a beautifully designed world, filled with content and adventure that will satisfy even the most demanding players.

The graphics are certainly one of the key elements that make Rebirth so captivating.

While some aspects may have had issues, such as poor textures or strange audio mixing, the overall visual experience is impressive. The game suffers from a certain number of extremely bad textures, which disrupt the entire visual moment in a very strange way.

It's unbelievable that such poor quality textures exist in such a beautiful world, something that the Remake also suffered from. Even some solutions like the sky and distant landscapes, which are actually just one big picture stuck on the horizon, will cause disbelief among the majority of players who have an eye for details.

However, the beautifully and detailed worlds and spectacular effects make every moment of the game visually satisfying. The animations are fluid and well executed, adding depth and life to the characters and the world around them.

Combat is another segment that stands out in Rebirth. Dynamic, fast-paced and challenging, the battles give players a chance to show off their skills and strategy.

Regarding the action part, everything is very similar to what we are used to in the Remake edition, but of course with certain improvements. As we now go through the whole adventure with a larger number of characters, which is extremely nice to see as they travel the world together, the influence of inactive characters in the actual fights is greater.

New mechanisms and capabilities add complexity and depth to the combat system, making every battle exciting and interesting. Joint moves and interactions between characters add an extra dimension to strategy, allowing players to use their team's full potential.

The fights have essentially everything you'd expect, both packaged and steeped in the series' past experiences. In fact, the whole game feels like a kind of culmination of the previous Final Fantasy games and that in the best possible sense.

It's as if all the best things we've seen so far have finally dawned in one game. Although the first part of the trilogy laid the groundwork, Rebirth expanded the world of Final Fantasy VII and took the story to new heights.

Instead of the bombastic powerhouse attack of the Remake, Rebirth takes a slower pace. It begins with an epilogue and scenes that clarify some past events, thus laying the foundation for the story. Emotional and tense, the protagonist's journey through the world of Midgard is filled with surprises, twists and deep emotional moments that will leave players breathless.

The characters are well developed, with complex motivations and relationships that add depth and complexity to the story.

The content is abundant and varied, offering players numerous activities and challenges.

"Gold Saucer", a location that fans will surely remember from the original game. A handful of mini-games that vary from racing to fighting. And there's also a card game where you can try your hand at many characters around the world, while collecting new cards along the way to take your game to the next level.

The depth of the world and characters gives players the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in the game world and explore everything it has to offer. The soundtrack is another aspect that stands out in Rebirth. With beautiful compositions and quality performance, the music adds atmosphere and emotions to the game, providing players with an unforgettable experience.

In addition to the quality of the themes, the execution is of the highest quality. And at times, some tracks are so well remixed and mixed that you will be fascinated. Of course, there are many different tones of music, for all appropriate situations and locations.

Objectively speaking, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is a masterpiece that exceeds all expectations and sets new standards for the series and the genre as a whole. If you are a fan of the Final Fantasy series or the JRPG genre in general, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is a game you simply cannot miss.
