The LIV Golf and Pga Tour conflict continues. Tiger Woods and other players held a meeting in the fight against LIV Golf. Informations about certain measures are slowly emerging. Alan Shipnuck reported for The Fire Pit Collective revealed that Tiger Woods plans to form a tour within a tour.

They are trying everything to stop Liv Golf. “Woods and the 20 top players he assembled discussed the formation of a tour-within-the-Tour: up to 18 no-cut tournaments featuring the top 60 players competing for $20 million purses,” Shipnuck reported It seems that some players don't know what that means.

“The best part is the lower-tier guys [on Tour] don’t even know what is coming,” one LIV Golfer told The Fire Pit Collective.

Greg Norman and his offer

Greg Norman denied media rumors about the figure that was offered to Woods “To be honest, we don’t comment on any past or current offers to any players, but obviously the media picks up on information, tid bits, white noise, and they run with it,” Norman said for foxsports.com.au.

“I just want to make sure for clarification here, the numbers that were thrown out were inclusive of future franchise value. And so if you take a look at this number that’s being thrown out there ... the generational wealth that this franchise opportunity has for the individual players is incredible”.

Woods is furious at LIV Golf's approach. “I think that what they’ve done is they’ve turned their back on what has allowed them to get to this position,” Woods said. "What these players are doing for guaranteed money, what is the incentive to practice? What is the incentive to go out there and earn it in the dirt? You’re just getting paid a lot of money up front and playing a few events and playing 54 holes. They’re playing blaring music and have all these atmospheres that are different”.
