Greg Norman: We have a new name!

LIV Golf is creating an empire and a team that will dominate the golf scene. The PGA Tour is trying everything in its power to stop the progress of the Saudi-backed competition. Huge money and the project attracted some renowned players.

Although they were banned from other competitions, it seems that they are still satisfied with coming to LIV Golf. One of the last names to join LIV Golf is David Puig. The Spaniard has huge ambitions, and Norman is happy for him.

"LIV family is a bond, growing and forever strong and giving an additional pathway for the next gen," Greg Norman said, as quoted by golfmonthly.com "Puig is a great long term addition."

David Puig: I’ve decided to turn professional this week

Puig decided to start a professional career with the observation that he had previously competed in amateur tournaments.

“Although it has probably been the hardest decision that I’ve ever made, I’ve decided to turn professional this week,” Puig said in a statement. “However, I’m still an ASU student and plan to graduate in the next year.

My base will be in Tempe, hopefully forever. What a great place to live and become a champion golfer. I've been lucky enough to represent Spain on many occasions and it's been a real honor. Today is a day where even though I stop being an amateur and change to a professional player, the love and respect I have for this federation will never change."

LIV Golf wants to bring a few more big names. Many cannot be bought, and believe that tradition is what is most important. As long as there are such players, the PGA Tour will have no reason to fear, even though they have already prepared certain things to protect their players. An interesting fight between the two Tours. It will last for a long time.
