Greg Norman has new plans for LIV Golf from day to day and wants to make a real evolution of golf. His goal is to introduce new things into the world of golf, attract a younger audience and return golf to the place where it should be.
The last in a series of his moves will include the formation of a women's division at LIV Golf. Norman had many recommendations and requests for this and decided that such a move would be excellent for the future of LIV GOLF.
"That is a discussion we have internally on a regular basis,"-Greg Norman said, as quoted by golfmonthly.com "I have personally had discussions with individual LPGA Tour players, LET Tour players, Ladies European Tour. They love what our product is showcasing.
They ask all the time, 'How can we get involved?' We'd love to see a LIV ladies series."
Greg Norman reveals his plans
From this season, Norman wants to make an even bigger attraction than LIV Golf. Although he is satisfied with the current situation, his goals are much bigger than that.
He is aware that he has to work hard, give his all if he wants this Tour to be on the throne. "From our perspective, last year was a beta season. We had eight events. This year was our first season where we're kicking off. We can only drink out of a fire hydrant so much, so we have a lot of opportunities and initiatives coming across our plate.
Our focus is to make sure this year we produce what we're producing here from day one, 2023, and then going forward we're looking what are the best opportunities to build on to what we have today. But the answer to the question is yes, we talk about it (a LIV ladies series) internally, and I have had discussions with individual lady players, professional players."
