Are Matteo Berrettini and Meredith Mickelson in a romance?

Matteo Berrettini is currently in Rome and on his social media profiles he wrote: "Happy to have spent a few days in Rome with my family and friends. Now it's time to go back to work to recover from the injury."

The social media gave birth to a new scoop on Berrettini's private life and fueled the rumors about the end of the relationship with Ajla Tomljanovic. The Australian player, in recent weeks, has removed all the photos with Berrettini and stopped following him.

In one of the recent photos published by the Italian it is easy to identify the building that houses the Mauro Laeng Historical Educational Museum, the same museum visited by the American model Meredith Mickelson. The Italian number one was also spotted in the previous days together with the famous model.

According to rumors released by the Very Inutil People portal, the two would have spent together Saturday night at the famous club The Sanctuary. No official statement has yet arrived from Berrettini, who has always tried not to make his personal matters public, but everything suggests that he has found a new girlfriend.

Berrettini's 2022

Matteo Berrettini was not particularly lucky at the start of the season. After reaching the semifinals at the Australian Open and losing to Rafael Nadal, the Italian player had to stop twice due to the usual physical problems.

The first stop came in Acapulco, when he retired during the match with Tommy Paul due to an abdominal injury. The blue returned to the field at the Indian Wells Master 1000, where he won the round of 16 for the first time.

However, Miomir Kecmanovic played an excellent game and stopped Berrettini. The current number 6 of the ATP ranking then announced a new forfeit at the Masters 1000 in Miami and, a few days after retiring, he revealed that he had undergone a small operation on his right hand to ensure a complete recovery.

It is still difficult to predict recovery times, but the Italian could take part in the Madrid tournament and defend the final he won last year.
