Roger Federer great wine expert!

Roger Federer is a great champion on a tennis court, but also a great wine expert! During an interview with Caminada, Federer revealed his favorite wine. Federer said: "My favorite wine is the 2009 Cos d’Estournel.

It was a special year for all of us: Mirka and I got married and girls were born. I also really like Italian wines such as Guado, Tasso, Sassicaia, Tignanello and others. Mirka and I love drinking champagne to celebrate special moments."

In a recent interview with RTBF, Christopher Clarey analyzed the perspectives of the Swiss: "After all this work he has done, I think he wants to play again in 2023 and return to Wimbledon for the last time. His glory days are over in my opinion, but he can still play some great games if he gets back in shape.

In purely statistical terms, Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal stand before him. If, on the other hand, we talk about the impact on this sport, no one comes close to Roger."

Rogerb Federer's come back in Basel and ATP Cup with Rafael Nadal

The round of 16 at Roland Garros and the quarterfinals at Wimbledon were his best results of the season, far too thin a booty for a legend of his caliber.

Roger had to overtake Rafael Nadal in the all-time Grand Slam standings, while Novak Djokovic snatched the record for weeks at the top of the ATP rankings. After undergoing yet another surgery on his right knee, Roger Federer hopes to return to the court in late summer or early autumn.

For the moment, his presence has been confirmed at the Laver Cup, scheduled at the O2 Arena in London at the end of September, and at the ATP in Basel. The last two years have not been easy for the King on a sporting level, having had to deal with a serious knee problem.

Suffice it to say that the Swiss champion played just 13 official matches in 2021, collecting nine wins and four losses.
