Michael Owen is going through hard days because of his daughter

Legendary English footballer Michael Owen has admitted he was shocked to see his teenage daughter Gemma, 19, share a bed with men on the British reality show "Love Island" Gemma is the eldest child of Michael Owen and his wife Louise Bonsall.

The couple has been married for 17 years, and together they have a son James and daughters Emily May and Jessica.

Micheal is not happy

“It’s not something any father wants to watch, is it? I said to [my wife] Louise, ‘do they really have to sleep together, like in the same bed?’ She said ‘yes’.

I said ‘I did not bank on this”. In the show, scantily clad, young people live in a luxurious villa and seek love under the watchful eye of numerous cameras. “If there is physical contact I think I’ll be throwing something at the screen.

I don’t want to see kissing. Do not make me see kissing!” he said. The great striker started his career in Liverpool, with whom he won the UEFA Cup, the European Super Cup, the FA Cup, and two League Cups from 1997 to 2004.

In 2001, he was awarded the Golden Ball for the world's best footballer. He scored 118 goals for the Reds in 216 Premier League games. He moved to Real Madrid in 2004, but that was also the beginning of his downward trajectory.

He was mostly a reserve in Madrid, so the following year he moved to Newcastle where he stayed for four seasons, mostly marked by injuries. He then ended up sensationally at Manchester United, but in three seasons he was given very few chances to play, and his crash with injuries continued.

With the Red Devils, however, he won the Premier League for the first time in his career and added another League Cup. He ended his career in Stoke City.
