Jennifer Lopez recently performed in a duet with "her favorite duet partner ever", who turned out to be her 14-year-old non-binary daughter Emma. The Grammy winner performed Thursday at Dodgers Stadium in Los Angeles. Dressed in green high-waisted trousers, a top, and a cloak with feathered details, she announced a special guest to the audience using the pronoun "they/them".

“my favorite duet partner”

Lopez called Emme “my favorite duet partner”, telling the crowd: “The last time we performed together was in a big stadium like this and I ask them to sing with me all the time, and they won’t.

So this is a very special occasion. They are very, very busy, booked, and pricey,” she joked Then she continued: “They cost me when they come out. But they’re worth every single penny because they’re my favorite duet partner of all time.

So if you will indulge me”. the actress said, inviting her daughter Emma to the stage. Emme appeared in a bright pink outfit consisting of a short-sleeved shirt and shorts that she paired with stockings of the same color and black ankle boots.

She wore a cap on her head. At the event of a humanitarian character, the mother and daughter performed the song "A Thousand Years", and on that occasion, Emma wore a microphone in rainbow colors. Many shared a video of their performance on social media, praising Jennifer for expressing support for her child in front of everyone, and "with a great deal of love." “The best parents support their children,” is one of the comments.

Emma and twin brother Max are children that the singer had with her ex-husband Marc Anthony, with whom she still has a good relationship. The 14-year-old has previously attracted a lot of attention with her looks and has often been the target of ugly comments where many have questioned her gender orientation.

The family ignored the ugly comments, and the mother and daughter last performed together in 2020 at the Super Bowl halftime.
