Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay and his wife Tana Ramsay have joyfully announced the arrival of their sixth child, a baby boy named Jesse James Ramsay. The couple shared this delightful news on Instagram last Saturday, marking a special moment in their lives.
A Growing Family
At 57, the renowned 'Kitchen Nightmares' host shared his excitement online by posting three charming photographs of their newest family member. "What an amazing birthday present please welcome Jesse James Ramsay, 7lbs 10oz whopper," Gordon expressed in a heartwarming caption.
Celebrating his birthday just days before, he humorously added, "One more bundle of love to the Ramsay brigade!! 3 boys, 3 girls…. Done 👊🏼❤️❤️."
The Ramsays, already parents to five children - Megan, 25, twins Jack and Holly, 23, Matilda "Tilly," 22, and Oscar, 4 - are known for their close-knit family bond.
The images shared by Gordon featured tender moments: him kissing the newborn's head as Tana cradled him and a couple of pictures showcasing Tana's radiant smile next to baby Jesse. Tana, 49, mirrored her husband's sentiment on her Instagram, also sharing the joyous photographs and an additional one of baby Jesse meeting his older brother Oscar.
She reflected on the journey, saying, "It’s been a nerve-wracking 9 months but we’ve made it and we have been blessed with this little bundle," and affirming, "Ramsay family definitely complete. Jesse James Ramsay we love you so much ❤️🙏🏼."
A Chef’s Humor in Parenthood
In September, Gordon opened up about his wife's desire for another child, sharing with PEOPLE his humorous outlook on aging and parenting.
"I’m going to be at school celebrating sports day with a f---ing walker!” he joked. Highlighting the age gap, he quipped, "'Hey, who's your granddad?' 'That's my dad, actually.' " Despite the challenges, Gordon's commitment to his growing family remains as strong and heartwarming as ever.
