The famous actor Robert De Niro unexpectedly appeared near a court in New York today to publicly attack the presidential candidate, Republican Donald Trump, whom he called "a clown who could become a tyrant." The actor, who supports the current Democratic President Joseph Biden, said while looking at the New York sidewalk that it is "his end." After a press conference in front of the Manhattan courthouse where Donald Trump is on trial, actor Robert De Niro, who supports Joe Biden, clashed with protesters, supporters of the former American president.

De Niro spoke at the conference and expressed his support for Biden, NBC News reports. "This city was like a ghost town, but we promised not to let terrorists change our way of life. I love this city. Donald Trump doesn't just want to destroy the city, but the country, and in the end, he could destroy the world," said the actor.

"I don't want to scare you. No, no, wait - maybe I really do," he continued. "If Trump returns to the White House, you can say goodbye to the freedoms we all take for granted. And elections - forget about them. If he enters the White House, he'll never leave," De Niro said.

De Niro's speech was actually organized by the campaign team of Democratic President Biden, while at the same time, just a step away, Trump listened to his lawyers advocating for an acquittal in the criminal proceedings against him.

The actor, who is now 80 years old, said that Trump is "a clown" and that everyone considered his candidacy for president in 2016 a joke. "When Trump ran in 2016, it was like a joke, an idiot running for president. We forgot the lessons of history that show us that other clowns weren't taken seriously until they became wild dictators," De Niro said.

He added that now no one should laugh, but must use the unique opportunity to vote against him – once and for all.
