Lara Gut: husband, diet and other curiosities
A great sports fan, like her whole family, Lara loves flowers and is a great reader.
Her husband Valon Behrami plays for Brescia, the Lombardy of Italian Serie A team: he says he conquered her with a walk in the mountains because she doesn't like big things, typical among footballers. They got married in 2018, for him it was her second marriage, for her, her first.
At the World Championships in Cortina d'Ampezzo 2021 she won the gold medal in the supergiant and giant slalom, the bronze medal in the downhill and did not qualify for the final in the parallel slalom. In that same season in the World Cup she won the supergiant World Cup for the third time, with 202 points ahead of Federica Brignone, and finished 2nd in the general classification, 160 points behind Petra Vlhová, and 3rd in that of downhill.
Her seasonal podiums were 10, with 6 victories. The following year at the XXIV Olympic Winter Games in Beijing 2022 she won the gold medal in the supergiant and the bronze medal in the giant slalom.
