Anthony Rizzo opens on how he feels about Giancarlo Stanton, Aaron Judge

New York Yankees first baseman Anthony Rizzo is 100 percent certain that Giancarlo Stanton and Aaron Judge are special players, stating that those who have front-row tickets to watch the two Yankees stars should be really appreciative.

The Yankees haven't been to the World Series since 2019 but they have gotten off to a promising start to the 2022 season and there is a strong sense of excitement around The Bronx. The Yankees have won 28 of their first 38 games and they sit at No.

1 of the NL East standings. “To have a front-row ticket to see [Stanton and Judge], it’s something you have to appreciate,” Rizzo said, per The New York Post.

The Yankees own a great record and Judge's performances are one of the keys to their early success.

What worries the Yankees fans is that Judge will be a free agent after the season ends. Judge and the Yankees failed to reach an agreement on an extension before Opening Day and he made it clear he would not be negotiating an extension during the season.

"Every day is a gamble," Judge said. "Very few people get this opportunity to talk about an extension. So me getting this opportunity is something special, and I appreciate the Yankees wanting to do that. But I don't mind going to free agency.

I'm not really going to look at all the negatives. I will just focus on what I need to do on the field and everything else will take care of itself. At the end of the year, I'm a free agent -- will talk to 30 teams, and the Yankees will be one of those 30 teams.

It's always nice to try to wrap something up sooner, the better. But we weren't able to get it done and it's on to baseball."
