Late on Sunday, Britney Spears, often dubbed as the “Princess of Pop,” announces in an Instagram post that she will be taking a social media hiatus. In factuality, latest remarks from the 40-year-old American singer, songwriter and dancer who is often credited with influencing the revival of teen pop during early 2000s, came forth just two weeks after she had unveiled her pregnancy.
The singer turned to Instagram saying she was pregnant and expecting her first child with finance Sam Asghari earlier this month. Aside from that, adding that she had begun to gain weight following a latest trip to Hawaii, Britney wrote, “So I got a pregnancy test…and uhhhhh well…I am having a baby”.
Apart from that, Spears wrote to her 40 million Instagram followers late on Sunday, “I'm going on a social media hiatus for a little while!!! I send my love and God bless you all”. Britney Spears is already a mother of two sons, Sean Preston, 16 and Jayden James, 15, from her previous marriage with Kevin Federline.

On top of that, citing that she would be keeping a low-profile during her pregnancy, mostly aimed at avoiding the paparazzi, Britney also wrote in her announcement, “I obviously won't be going out as much due to the paps getting their money shot of me like they unfortunately already have”.
In tandem, after Spears’ initial pregnancy announcement about a couple of weeks earlier, Asghari wrote on his own social media post, “Marriage and kids are a natural part of a strong relationship filled with love and respect. Fatherhood is something i have always looked forward to and i don't take lightly”.
