Naomi Judd, the American country music legend who had been found dead at the age of 75 with gunshot wounds, was actually died of a self-inflicted firearm wound, Naomi’s daughter Ashley claimed late on Thursday. In the matter of the fact, Ashley Judd appeared in “Good Morning America” with Diane Sawyer, while speaking about her mother’s death, Judd opened up on her mother’s death and how her family have been trying to grapple with the shock.
Naomi Judd had self-inflicted gunshot wound!
Speaking of her mother’s death in “Good Morning America,” Ashley Judd was quoted saying that her family did not want to reveal information before an autopsy report.
Adding that her mother used a weapon to end her life, Ashley told Sawyer, “…my mother used a firearm. So that’s the piece of information that we are very uncomfortable sharing, but understand that we’re in a position that if we don’t say it someone else is going to.
My mother knew that she was seen and she was heard in her anguish, and she was walked home. When we’re talking about mental illness, it’s very important to be clear and to make the distinction between our loved one and the disease.
It’s very real, and it lies, it’s savage. Our mother couldn’t hang on until she was inducted into the Hall of Fame by her peers. “That is the level of catastrophe of what was going on inside of her, because the barrier between the regard in which they held her couldn’t penetrate into her heart, and the lie the disease told her was so convincing”.
Back in the 1983s, Naomi Judd and her daughter Wynonna had formed a band called “The Judds,” that later turned out to be a very successful country music act. “The Judds” won five Grammy Awards and nine Country music association awards.
