Hugh Jackman, the immeasurebly gifted Australian actor and a recipient of a number of accolades including a Golden Globe, a Primetime Emmy alongside a Grammy Award, has been set to return as Wolverine in “Deadpool 3” along with Ryan Reynolds. Ryan Reynolds had unveiled the media topline on his social media account late on Tuesday saying that the 53-year-old Aussie, who is best-known for “Logan” in X-Men franchise alongside Les Miserable, would return in “Deadpool 3” and the show would be released on September 6, 2024. Hugh Jackman has a strong theatrical background and has been a vocal for theatrical music at the early part of his career.

On top of that, Reynolds posted a video on Twitter that unveiled a title labelled as “COMING HUGHN”.
Just a few seconds after the title, Jackman would be seen walking in the background. The video had garnered over a whacking 3.75 million views in less than a day.
Ryan Reynolds said in his social media account, “Hey everyone, we’re extremely sad to have missed D23, but we’ve been working very hard on the next ‘Deadpool’ film for a good long while now,” Reynolds says in the video, referencing the D23 Expo in early September.Hard keeping my mouth sewn shut about this one. âï¸ pic.twitter.com/OdV7JmAkEu — Ryan Reynolds (@VancityReynolds) September 27, 2022
“I’ve had to really search my soul on this one. His first appearance in the MCU obviously needs to feel special. We need to stay true to the character, find new depth, motivation, meaning. Every ‘Deadpool’ needs to stand out and stand apart.
It’s been an incredible challenge that has forced me to reach down deep inside. And I…I have nothing. Yeah, just completely empty up here. And terrifying. But we did have one idea”.
Besides, as Jackman was walking in the background, Reynold asked, “Hey, Hugh, you want to play Wolverine one more time?” Reynolds’ video concluded with a subtitle, “I will always love Hugh”.
