Wicked Movie has been mulling an option to cast Jeff Goldblum as their final star for upcoming adaptation of a ”Wizard of Oz” prequel. A press agency report had unveiled later this week citing sources who wished to remain anonymous considering the sensitive nature of the issue that the 70-year-old American actor and musician, best-known for his play in "Jurrasic Park" franchise, has been in a final-stage negotiation to play in Wicked Movie’s “Wizard of Oz”.
Nonetheless, the source also had unveiled that the film’s production has been on a developmental phase, while storyline of the film would be evolving around the friendship between two witches, Elphaba and Glinda. Elphaba is the wicked witch of the west and Glinda is the original Wizard of the Oz, as the plot would eventually prompt Glinda to take on Elphaba.
Ariana Grande has been casted to play Elphaba, while Cynthia Erivo would play Elphaba along with Jonathan Baily, who will become the centrepiece of an interest of love for both Elphaba and Glinda.

In the matter of the fact, Variety had been the first major media outlet to leak the headline that Jeff Goldblum has been in a final stage of negotiation to play in the Wizard of Oz.
