Ice Cube, the 53-year-old American rapper, actor and filmmaker whose 1988 album “Straight Outta Compton” had played a trailblazing role to spread the wings of gangsta rap’s across the globe, had confirmed in an interview earlier this week that he had lost above a whopping $9 million worth of film job because of his refusal to take the pandemic jab.

In factuality, speaking in a new episode of the “Million Dollaz Worth of Game” podcast, the LA-based father of five had acknowledged that he had lost above a whacking $9 million because of his sheer reluctance to receive a pandemic jab.

Aside from that, latest remarks from Ice Cube came forth nearly more than a year after a report had unenveloped that the famous actor and rapper had been dropped from a Sony comedy “Oh Hell No,” which was directed by “Bad Trip” filmmaker Kitao Sakurai and had starred Jack Black.

Producers of the film had reportedly urged all casts to be vaccinated before taking part in the shoot, though Ice Cube had rejected to take the jab. Confirming the media gossips that emerged back in the October of 2021, Ice Cube said in the podcast, “I turned down a movie because I didn’t want to get the motherfucking jab.

I turned down $9 million. I didn’t want get the jab. Fuck that jab. Fuck ya’ll for trying to make me get it. I don’t know how Hollywood feels about me right now”. Apart from that, while having been asked whether he had left Hollywood to concentrate on streaming, Cube replied, “That’s Hollywood thought. They’re on some shit. But me too, I’m on some shit too”.
