As we well know the history of the Von Erich family, one of the most famous professional wrestler families in the world, is truly tormented, as if a curse had been cast on them, but also beautiful in terms of history in the ring.
In June, Deadline reported that their story will be told in a biopic and among the protagonists there will also be the famous actor Zac Efron, whom we all know more than anything else for his career with Disney in the film series High School Musical, but which over the years has built a career of its own that is decidedly deeper and made up of more serious films.
But Efron is just one of the many famous actors who will take part in the film, in fact there will also be Jeremy Allen White, better known as Lip in Shameless, Lily James, actress of the mini series Pam and Tommy, among the many things he has done, and also Harrison Dickinson, actor of Maleficent and most recently of Murder in the West End.
Here the actor who will play Ric Flair in The Iron Claw
Also joining this stellar cast will be actor Aaron David Eisenberg who will play the role of Ric Flair. Eisenberg is best known for his role in the HBO series The Deuce.
Deadline described his part in The Iron Claw: "While the role is only expected to be a cameo, Flair played a huge role in the legacy the Von Erichs left in wrestling when she fought Kerry Von Erich for NWA Championship belt in 1984." We also remind you that the current AEW World Champion MJF has also joined the cast: "The A24 wrestling film 'The Iron Claw' from Cannes and the Sundance Award-winning director Sean Durkin (Martha Marcy May Marlene) is getting a new touch of authenticity with the addition of professional wrestler Maxwell Jacob Friedman to the cast," had always written Deadline. In the next weeks we will have more news about.
