Elijah Wood, star of Wilfred, and obviously in the Lord of the Rings films, had visited the Belfast set of Game of Thrones recently, and spoke to Conan O'Brien about it. Below is the fun video and the opinions of Wood d Conan:

Elijah Wood's career

Elijah's film career began at a very young age, when at the age of eight, in 1989, he appeared in a small role in Back to the Future - Part II and also appeared in the Cranberries video Ridiculous Thoughts.

In the early 1990s he established himself as one of the best child actors in American cinema. He wins the Young Artist Award for his performance in the film The Great Flight (1991) with Joseph Mazzello and in 1992 he participates as the protagonist together with Mel Gibson in the film Love Forever.

In 1993 he co-starred with Macaulay Culkin in the thriller The Innocence of the Devil, for which he received a Saturn Award. Other successful films followed such as Parents Wanted (1994), The War (1994) and Flipper (1996). Now a young actor we find him in Deep Impact (1998), but international fame arrives in 2001-03 with the interpretation of the young hobbit Frodo Baggins in the film trilogy of The Lord of the Rings directed by Peter Jackson.

In 2005 he starred in the film Hooligans and Everything is Illuminated, and in the same year he played Kevin in Sin City. In 2007 he starred in Oxford Murders alongside John Hurt. In 2006, he also lent his voice to the Spyro video game series.

On May 25, 2009 Wood won the Midnight Award at the San Francisco International Film Festival, an award given to a young actor who has contributed to indie cinema. Since 2011 he has been playing in the US sitcom Wilfred in the role of Ryan Newman, the protagonist of the series together with the dog Wilfred, who is seen only by him as a human being disguised as a dog.

In 2012 he returned in a cameo as Frodo Baggins in An unexpected journey, the first chapter of the trilogy of The Hobbit, prequel to The Lord of the Rings. Also in 2012 he starred in the music video of the song Tiny Tortures by Flying Lotus.

In general, Wood is mostly known for his portrayal of the hobbit Frodo Baggins in The Lord of the Rings trilogy directed by Peter Jackson.
