In addition to his successful career, Rock is also known for his controversial jokes, which have sparked backlash and criticism at times. One such instance occurred at the last Oscars ceremony, where Rock made jokes about Will Smith's wife, Jada Pinkett Smith.

In response, Smith reportedly slapped Rock, causing a stir on social media and making headlines. Despite the controversy, Rock's talent and influence as a comedian cannot be denied. He has won numerous awards and accolades throughout his career, including four Emmy Awards and three Grammy Awards.
