There is no doubt that Scarlett Johansson is one of the most famous actresses on the Hollywood scene at the present time. She did, however, not always have an upward career path, as she faced a large number of difficulties in her career, making it less than ideal.

In spite of everything, Johansson remained true to herself. The best she could do was to fight for herself, and give her all. However, at one point in her career, Johansson had a completely different way of thinking. Scarlett Johansson, one of the most famous actresses, recently said that after losing two major roles, she would have to reconsider her career as an actor in Hollywood.

According to Variety, this 38-year-old actress stated in an interview with the magazine that she was discouraged after she was rejected for a role in the Marvel film "Iron Man 2" in 2010, and then later in the science fiction film "Gravity" in 2013.

It was then decided that Emily Blunt would play the lead role in the movie "Iron Man 2", but she soon resigned due to scheduling conflicts, so Scarlett Johansson was asked to fill the role as a backup.

Sandra Bullock was the star of the movie "Gravity" in which she played the major role. As Johansson said regarding the movie "Gravity," "I wanted the role so much, and that was the last straw; I was disappointed and frustrated.

I thought I was not doing my job properly," she added. The roles that were offered to her during that period were also discouraging because of the fact that she was not happy with them. Her previous nominations for best actress in movies such as the Golden Globe for "Lost in Translation" as well as numerous other awards have also earned her acclaim, but she maintains that she is not considered a serious actress at all, but rather a sex symbol by many directors.
