With his new film, Adam Sandler proved to the critics that he is not a bad actor after gaining a reputation as a hated actor. In You Are Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah, Netflix's adaptation of Fiona Rosenbloom's 2005 coming-of-age novel of the same name, Sandler scored a near-perfect Tomatometer rating.

Many were surprised by this fact, but Sandler once again showed that the criticism he receives has no basis. Following Stacy Friedman and her best friend Lydia Katz through their teenage years, the movie follows their growing up and everything they face.

In the film, Sunny Sandler played the lead actress, Stacy, along with her older sister Sadie, and her husband Jackie. As Adam Sandler's best-reviewed film, it has a 96% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. According to Netflix's audience ratings, it has 67%, placing it first among the most watched movies.

It seems that the audience recognized the quality of this film and decided to reward Sandler and the rest of the crew for what they did.

Reactions

Through Twitter, Facebook, and other social media, there was a lot of praise for Sandler.

Many believe that Sandler changed his image as an artist with this film. Many now look at him in a completely different way and admire this creation.
With a 93 percent positive rating, the film dethroned Adam's 2022 basketball drama Hustle as his highest-rated film.

Aside from "The Meyerowitz Stories (New and Selected)" (92 percent), Sandler's top-reviewed projects include "Uncut Gems" (91 percent), which earned him an Independent Spirit Award for Best Actor, and "Punch-Drunk Love" (79 percent) in 2002.

Quality films are left behind the latest. Sandler's film "You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah" attracted enormous attention. Even those who have not seen the film, now have the desire to watch it and see what it is about. Sandler will probably work on the same projects in the future because it is clear that he has an artistic soul.
