Mark Hamill, celebrated for his unforgettable role as Luke Skywalker in the legendary "Star Wars" saga, is stepping into the limelight once again for a remarkable cause. He has taken the initiative to make a difference by offering signed posters linked to the iconic film series.

The proceeds from these collector's items will be dedicated to sustaining the critical supply of drones to aid Ukraine. In a time of global challenges, Hamill's dedication to this noble endeavor underscores the enduring power of the "Force" to bring hope and support to those in need.

"We decided to sign the 'Star Wars' posters in a limited quantity. "You can get a lot more money from real die-hard collectors - especially those who can pay - than you'd imagine," Hamil told Politiko. "The idea of hundreds and thousands of people participating in a competition or auction is really smart," Hamil added.

The poster is set to be available for purchase next week and will be released in advance of the February 24th commemoration of the Ukraine war. This special edition poster serves as a poignant reminder of the historical significance and the need for lasting peace.

Volodymyr Zelensky personally asked to join the fight against the "evil empire"

The proceeds generated from the sale of these posters will be channeled towards supporting the Ukrainian fundraising platform known as "United24." This platform plays a crucial role in providing aid and resources to those affected by the ongoing challenges in Ukraine.

Mark Hamill's involvement as an ambassador for the "Drone Army" project is an inspiring testament to the power of the human spirit. His commitment to this endeavor began in September, when Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky personally reached out and asked for his support.

Zelensky's request drew a striking parallel to the iconic "Evil Empire" of the "Star Wars" universe, referring to Russia's actions in a manner reminiscent of the galactic empire and the tyrannical rule of Palpatine. Hamill's decision to join this fight is not only a powerful symbol of solidarity but also a reminder of the enduring impact of stories that resonate across time and space.

"Light will overcome darkness. I believe in this, our people believe in this," Zelenski told Hamil during last year's video call.
