Chris Evans portrayed Captain America across 11 Marvel Cinematic Universe films, last seen in the role in 2019's "Avengers: Endgame." Recent rumors from credible sources suggest Marvel's interest in reuniting the original six Avengers for new movies.

Dissatisfaction among fans and superhero fatigue due to the current projects has fueled these discussions. Scarlett Johansson, known for her role as Black Widow, expressed uncertainty about returning, citing her character's demise in the last Avengers movie.

Chris Evans: I would never say never, but..

While Evans' character, Steve Rogers, is alive but aged, his return seems more possible. However, the actor remains cautious about these rumors. Speaking on The View, Evans addressed the speculation, saying: "You know, I always see those reports too, and it’s news to me.

I think every couple months, someone says that they’re getting Downey, and Hemsworth, and Scarlet, and everyone’s coming back! No one’s spoken to me about it. And look, I would never say never, but I really-- I’m very protective.

It’s a very precious role to me, so it would have to be just right." Kevin Feige responded to the rumors that have been circulating for several weeks in an interview with the media. He decided to be secretive and did not want to confirm any information, or at least emphasize that something new is waiting for us.

Time will tell. "We'll have to see. Is that the answer? Fallen Avengers that are returning...is that [the new rumor,]? I have literally not seen that. We did not discuss that [after having the rumor explained to him] at the retreat is the truth.

We are doing a project with Scarlet. I love Robert, he is a part of the family but in terms of returning, we'll have to see."- Feige said, as quoted by screenrant.com!
