John Hunter Nemechek returns to JGR

John Hunter Nemechek has made a new decision in his career. He decided to leave his current team (Kyle Busch Motorosport) and decided to return to JGR in Xfinity races. Hunter seems to have high expectations of his team and is striving for the biggest goals.

His team has big ambitions, and they always need a driver like Hunter
“I am really excited to have this opportunity to race again in JGR’s Xfinity Series program after the success we had last season,” said Nemechek, as quoted by motorsport “We were able to pick up a win in just three starts and hopefully we can add to that success this season.

“I am also looking forward to working with crew chief Jason Ratcliff, who has found Victory Lane with a lot of different drivers over the years”.

Executive Vice President of Xfinity Series comment

Steve de Souza, Executive Vice President of Xfinity Series and Development for Joe Gibbs Racing just like the rest of the team, are happy with the arrival of one of the important drivers, who can make an advantage.

“John Hunter was impressive in his starts with us last year and we’re excited to have him back this season to work with Jason (Ratcliff) and our No. 18 team for a few races,” said Steve de Souza, Executive Vice President of Xfinity Series and Development for Joe Gibbs Racing.

“He really has made the most of every opportunity and we expect he will run up front again in these races”. John Hunter has used the chances before him so far, so this time we expect the same. He is a very promising, ambitious and above all a skilled driver.

Hunter has a long career ahead of him, and it is clear that the greatest successes await him. By all accounts, he should meet expectations
