William Byron: "Only real difference is I feel like Kansas is..."

William Byron did not have a good experience in Darlington considering the incident with Joey Logano, but it seems that he has already put his focus on the race in Kansas and that he wants to achieve a good result. Still, he surprised many after Logano ruined everything he did in Darlington: “He’s just an idiot.

He does this stuff all the time. I’ve seen it with other guys. “He drove in there 10 miles an hour too fast, and with these Next Gen cars, he slammed me so hard it knocked the whole right side off the car and no way to make the corner.

“Yeah, he’s just a moron. He can’t win a race so it does it that way. ”- Byron said, as quoted by firstsportz.

Kansas race

This time, he seems to be aware of what he wants from the Kansas race and that he will do his best to reach the finish line.

The most important thing is that Byron is full of self-confidence. “While most of these tracks this year, we’ve had to re-learn because of the Next-Gen car, think I’m a bit more confident on what to expect heading to Kansas this weekend.

Not all mile-and-a-half tracks are the same but I feel like Kansas and Las Vegas are the most similar to each other. We raced at Vegas earlier this year and ran really well,” William Byron said. Kansas is a track they know well, and they seem to have prepared a plan for what awaits them.

“The only real difference is I feel like Kansas is a more temperature-sensitive racetrack and has less grip. We’ve run well at Kansas over the past couple of years, so I think with the notebook we’ve built so far and our past experiences there, we should have a good shot at the win this weekend,” William Byron added.
