Joey Logano before Gateway: The track is a fair amount smoother than it used to be

No: 22 Ford Mustang driver for Team Penske Racing, Joey Logano is ready before the Gateway and that’s the track he missed. There are many good memories that Logano had of this track, and besides, this track is interesting for him.

There are great expectations from him and this race, and we will see what he can show this time.
“I’ve missed it. This is a fun racetrack. It was already fun out there, and memories are coming back from 2008 — although they repaved it — and the track is a fair amount smoother than it used to be,” Joey Logano said.

“Turns 1 and 2 are one of the best corners in our sport. You can move around and try different things and you’re shifting. It’s fun to be able to get off the gas pedal and on the brake and manage both pedals again.

I’ve enjoyed that,” Joey Logano continued.

Joey Logano on turns 3 and 4

He talked about turns 3 and 4 and seems excited about what awaits him. We will see how Logano manages, but also other colleagues who still do not know what to expect from the race.

We are hoping for an exciting race, full of adrenaline, and considering what we have seen in the previous weeks, we cannot expect anything else.
“Turns 3 and 4 are a part of the track where you really got to push yourself and hustle it.

It makes for a pretty fun track to go around by yourself. We’ll see what the race is like. It seems like 1 and 2 are already taking rubber, and cars are moving up the race track already,” says Joey Logano. This race could be crucial for many drivers, but the season is long and there is much more to come.

The ambitions are still the same for most, but only now are things getting clearer, and some names are emerging as competitors at the top of the table.
