The race at Darlington was the first playoff race that showed a lot. The winner of the race was Erik Jones, although many expected some other guys on the podium. What surprised the fans was the performance of Kyle Busch and Martin Truex Jr.

Unfortunately for them, both had to retort their car due to mechanical failure. No one could have expected it, but NASCAR is like that. Martin Truex Jr. was disappointed after everything, but he is not giving up on his goals and is already focused on the next races.

Things can still be fixed. “It’s been tough, and this is another tough night for sure. But we’ll come back next week and fight again. Just mad. Upset. Angry. We deserve better, and no matter what we do this year, it seems wrong.

When we run good, stuff goes wrong, and when we run bad, nothing happens,” says Martin Truex Jr. Truex Jr. he thinks he could have won again, but luck is not on his side. “[It’s] Just one of those years that we can’t get anything to go our way.

It’s about the fifth time I should have won this race, and I’ve only won it once, so pretty pissed off,”.

Kyle Busch shares his opinion

Kyle Busch is pleased with the effort the team put in, even though they didn't succeed in their goal.

“Unfortunate circumstances for us tonight. The guys did a great job and brought a really fast M&M Toyota Camry. Just really proud of the effort. All the stuff the guys have done and gone through – just all the news and everything that’s going on all year.

They’ve dug in and never given up and continue. We had a great car and didn’t have anything to show for it. That’s what I really, really hate about it,”
