Joey Logano took the win at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. He showed his quality, was persistent, and in the end deservedly won. He could not hide his happiness after the great success, and this will be an additional motivation for him to continue.
“We’re running for a championship – let’s go,” Logano said after exiting his No. 22 Ford, as quoted by motorsport.com. “The Penske cars were all really fast today. All you want to do is get to the Championship 4 when the season starts and race for a championship and we’ve got the team to do it.
I don’t see why we can’t win at this point.
Joey Logano and his comments: Things are looking really good
This is a great thing for his team and the fact that they are still in the game makes them especially happy.
Having a driver like Logano is certainly a big deal for their team, and we will see if he can match the others for the rest of the season. “Things are looking really good for us, and man, just a lot of adversity fought through the last 50 laps or so.
I thought we were going to win and then we kind of fell out and then had the tires, and racing Ross was fun. “He was doing a good job air blocking me, and just trying to be patient, and eventually I was like, ‘I’ve got to go here.’ Just great to win out here in Vegas again, and it means so much getting to the championship”.
Ross Chastain finished second, while Kyle Busch finished third. Chase Briscoe and Denny Hamlin were equally good and finished fourth and fifth. An interesting season with many competitors in the game. However, in the end, only one will reach the victory and the title that every NASCAR driver dreams of. Everyone has their favorite, but in the end, let the best win.
