DeMar DeRozan comments on lighting up Bucks for 41 points in Game 2 victory

DeMar DeRozan went cold in Game 1 of the Chicago Bulls and Milwaukee Bucks series but bounced back on Wednesday night as he dropped 41 points to lead the Bulls to a 114-110 win in Game 2. In Game 1, DeRozan shot 6-of-25 from the field and scored just 18 points as the Bulls lost.

"I looked at all my missed shots from Game 1, most of them shots are my shots," DeRozan said after Game 2 victory, per ESPN. "I'll never let a miss deter me from taking my next jump shot. And not being aggressive. I just knew [a bad shooting night], it wasn't gonna happen."

Nikola Vucevic praises DeRozan

Vucevic also had a big performance as he scored 24 points and grabbed 13 rebounds.

DeRozan and Vucevic are playing their first season together and Vucevic thinks DeRozan is a special player capable of putting up big numbers on a regular basis. "He's capable of doing that every night," Bulls center Nikola Vucevic said of DeRozan.

"He's a helluva player. He's a helluva scorer. "He plays with such poise. He missed some shots in Game 1 that he's usually good at making. Tonight, he just stayed aggressive. Obviously, he made some very tough ones, especially down the stretch, some big, big shots.

"We've seen him doing it all season long. ... He might not go for 41 every night, but he has the capability of making big shots every night." Alex Caruso, who returned from a wrist injury last month, also had a good performance as he contributed with nine points and 10 assists.

"We had a long season," Caruso said. "We had a lot of adversity. There was almost a little bit of, like, we were just trying to start the playoffs already. We were kind of in a hole. But we got our spirit back."
