Jimmy Butler opens on how he feels about Jayson Tatum

Miami Heat forward Jimmy Butler is looking forward to going head-to-head versus Jayson Tatum as he has called the Boston Celtics star as one of the best players in the NBA. Both Butler and Tatum are having great playoffs and now they will go head-to-head as both are aiming to lead their respective sides to the NBA Finals.

Tatum is an extremely skilled player on the offensive side but Butler insists he can play a solid defense as well. Butler is one of the best defenders in the league and he will likely cover Tatum on defense. "He's one of the best in the game right now," Butler said, per ESPN.

"As much attention as he draws on the offensive end -- and then I think what's really impressive is the way that he's picked up his defensive intensity. You got to tip your hat to that and respect him, I think those are the guys that you want to go up against."

On Sunday, the Celtics beat the Milwaukee Bucks in Game 7. The Bucks were the defending NBA champion but now the NBA is set to get a new champion. Butler says the Celtics are a quality team but added it wouldn't be any easier if they were facing the Bucks.

"Either team that we were to end up facing, whether it be Milwaukee or Boston, is a really, really, really good team," Butler said. "It is Boston. We're looking forward to it. I guess you got to beat the best to be the best."

Butler lead the Heat to the NBA Finals two years ago in the bubble. Now, Butler is determined to lead the Heat to another NBA Finals appearance. Butler now has a better supporting cast around him and the Heat definitely have a shot at winning the NBA Finals.

Butler has been playing extremely well throughout the playoffs and the Heat will need another big series from their top star.
