Last night, the National Basketball Association (NBA) saw eight matches take place, with only the Milwaukee Bucks achieving a victory away from home. The remaining seven duels were won by the home team. The night began with a match between the Detroit Pistons and Minnesota Timberwolves, with the Pistons coming out victorious with a final score of 135:118.
“I didn't know if we would win tonight, but I knew we would come out and play hard," Pistons coach Dwane Casey said, per ESPN. “This is a very resilient group of young men, and we felt we would have better matchups tonight”.
The Washington Wizards also secured a win at home against the Chicago Bulls with a score of 100:97. Kuzma hit a leaning shot as he drove to his right and floated toward the Wizards’ bench during the match. “I was trying to give myself the best chance to make a play,” Kuzma said.
"I caught the ball, I looked left, a lot of teams are forcing me left. I just had Delon (Wright) get flat a little bit. I knew I had (Alex) Caruso on me and he’s one of the better defenders in the league. Give myself a chance to pick either way instead of being directed in one.
... Rose up and shot it and it went in”. Said Washington coach Wes Unseld Jr.: “I didn’t expect him to make that (particular shot), but that was the play. If you’re a competitor, everyone dreams of that moment”.
The only away team to secure a victory at home was the Milwaukee Bucks, who defeated the Atlanta Hawks with a score of 114:105. Holiday led the team to victory with 27 points.
