Atlanta Defeats Utah, Detroit Outshines Charlotte in Friday's NBA Action

In the night between Friday and Saturday, eight matches were played in the NBA league. Only Indiana and Detroit celebrated in front of their fans. Portland, Phoenix, Toronto, Orlando, Philadelphia, and Atlanta won as visitors.

Atlanta celebrated on the road to Utah 115:108.

A good first quarter gave Atlanta room to control the game. During the second part, the lead of the guests went up to 22 points, and the better play in the last 12 minutes did not help Jazz.

The home team only managed to mitigate the defeat. The best in Atlanta was Young with 27 points, Hunter gave one less, Okongwu added 11 rebounds to 15 points, Murray had 13, and Collins had ten points. Bogdan Bogdanovic played 25 and a half minutes, scored eight points and six rebounds and assists.

On the other side, Markkanen was the best in the Jazz with 25 points and ten rebounds. Clarkson added a point less, Conley 20, Sexton 12, and Agbadji ten.

Detroit vs Charlotte

Detroit, as the host, in an interesting game, was better than Charlotte 118:112 (29:30, 40:38, 23:26, 26:18), and confirmed the victory in the last part.

The Pistons were led by Ivey with 24 points, Bey with 22 and Bojan Bogdanovic with 21 points, one rebound and two assists in 35 minutes of play. Brooks added 16, and Duren added 13 points and 13 rebounds. In Charlotte, Lamelo Ball and Rozier each scored 23 points, McDaniels added 14, Plumlee 13, and Hayward 12.

Portland vs Wizards

Without the injured Jusuf Nurkic, Portland defeated the Wizards in Washington 124:116 (19:36, 32:33, 39:25, 34:22) with a big turnaround in the second half. Anfernee Simmons led them to victory with 33 points, Lillard scored 29, while Hart and Watford each scored 21 points.

In Washington, Beal stood out with 34 points, Porzingis scored 32, while Kispert scored 12, just like Kuzma, who also added 11 rebounds. Phoenix won away from Boston 106:94 (24:20, 33:24, 17:29, 32:21) led by Bridges who scored 25 points.

Paul added 15, Ayton 14 with ten rebounds, and Dario Saric recorded a double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds, and he also had three assists in half an hour of play. This is Saric's first double-double since March 2020. In Boston, Brown gave 27 points, Tatum 20, White one less, Brogdon stopped at 12.
