Nikola Jokic Reaches Milestone, Leads Nuggets to Victory Over Rockets

The Denver Nuggets triumphed over the Houston Rockets with a score of 133-112, in which Serbian player Nikola Jokic reached a historic jubilee. Jokic achieved his 100th triple-double in his NBA career, becoming only the sixth basketball player in the league's history to reach this feat.

A Unique Player, A Selfless Leader

Michael Malone, head coach of the Denver Nuggets, had only high praise for Jokic, stating, "He is a unique person who doesn't want any of the attention or credit. He just wants to go about his business and help this team win its first championship." Jokic himself humbly expressed his appreciation for the team's performance, saying, "I appreciate how we played.

That's what I appreciate. But all the achievements, awards, contracts or whatever, it's just...you don't chase it. It's really nice. I think it's going to be the best when you finish your career and just look behind you and see what you did."

Joining the Ranks of NBA Greats

With 14 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists in the game against the Rockets, Jokic joins the likes of Russell Westbrook (198), Oscar Robertson (181), Magic Johnson (138), Jason Kidd (107), and LeBron James (106) as the only players to have accomplished this feat.

The current record holder is Russell Westbrook with 198, but Jokic may have a shot at surpassing him in the future.
