Chandler Jones joked that Russell Wilson can't escape from him as he mentioned that there is no quarterback he has sacked more than Wilson. Jones and Wilson were divisional rivals for the past couple of seasons. This free agency, Jones signed with the Las Vegas Raiders, while Wilson was traded from the Seattle Seahawks to the Denver Broncos.

Jones and Wilson will once again be divisional rivals. “I think I’ve sacked Russell Wilson more than I’ve sacked anyone,” Jones said in his introductory press conference Thursday, per Raiders Wire.

“He’s a competitor. He’s a hell of a player. Even to have an opportunity to play against him twice a year will be fun. He thought he could get away from me (by) leaving, but I’m right here with him again, so that’s going to be fun to get after him a little bit”.

Jones excited to line up alongside Maxx Crosby

“Everyone’s speaking about Maxx Crosby,” Jones said, via Vincent Bonsignore of the Las Vegas Review-Journal. “I’m speaking about Maxx Crosby. I’m a huge fan of him.

Just to have the opportunity to rush on the opposite side of him is huge for me”. On March 11, 2020, Crosby celebrated two years of sabriety. Two years later, on the same date, Crosby signed a four-year, $95 million extension with the Raiders.

"The odds of that happening are so low, but it's also ironic," Crosby said reflecting on his journey. "I know in the last two years how much work I've put in, how much sacrifice, so much growth in everything I've been doing and seeing it paying off.

"Obviously, this is just the beginning of where I want to be, but this is an incredible gesture by the team and I'm just fired up to get back in the playoffs and continue chasing a ring."
