Aaron Rodgers acknowledged that the Green Bay Packers are making just too many mistakes and he suggested that it's time for the team to bench those who keep messing up. The Packers started the season with a 3-1 record, but since then have dropped three straight and are now sitting at 3-4.

In the last three weeks, the Packers suffered upset defeats to the New York Giants, New York Jets, and Washington Commanders. During his appearance on Pat McAfee's show, Rodgers addressed the Packers' struggles. “It’s definitely not just one play here or there,” Rodgers said, per Pro Football Talk.

“It’s 20 percent of the time. If we have 50 plays and we have 10 missed assignments or mental errors, that’s 20 percent of the time. So that’s way too high. In the past we were looking more like, less than 10 percent, so that gives us a really good chance to be successful.

20 percent, that’s way too high. That’s one play a series where you’re really making it tough on yourself. So we’ve got to fix that. I think guys who are making too many mistakes shouldn’t be playing.

Gotta start cutting some reps. And maybe guys who aren’t playing, give them a chance”.

On Sunday Night Football, the Packers are playing the Buffalo Bills on the road.

The Bills are widely viewed as one of the top teams in the NFL. Rodgers feels facing the Bills may be what the Packers need as he expects his teammates to approach the game fully locked in. "You're god damn right it does.

I'm not worried about this squad. In fact, this might be the best thing for us. This week, nobody's going to give us a chance, going to Buffalo on 'Sunday Night Football,' with a chance to get exposed. Shoot, this might be the best thing for us," Rodgers explained.
