Budda Baker calls out effort from some Cardinals players

Safety Budda Baker openly suggested that some Arizona Cardinals didn't fight until the very end of their Monday Night Football Game against the San Francisco 49ers. In Mexico City, the Cardinals took on the 49ers. Just before the halftime, the Cardinals scored a touchdown that cut the 49ers' lead to 14-10.

In the second half, there was only one team on the field as the 49ers scored 24 unanswered points to claim a 38-10 win. After the game, Baker was asked if he felt the Cardinals played hard throughout the entire game.

Baker on if all Cardinals players played hard until the end

“No, I don’t.

At the end of the day we’re all grown men. Women lie, men lie, that film never lies. Whatever the film says is what it is”. Baker said, per Cameron Cox of KPNX. On the other side, the 49ers sounded much happier after the game.

After leading the 49ers to another win and a 6-4 record, 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo was extremely happy with the performance they delivered versus the Cardinals. “The past couple weeks we’ve been putting together some good games.

Today was probably our best full game that we’ve put together. But we’ve got a long way to go. There’s some yards we left out there, even some points that we left out there. It’s a nice thing that guys are still hungry," Garoppolo said.

After throwing four touchdown passes and zero interceptions versus the Cardinals, Garoppolo earned praise from his head coach Kyle Shanahan. “Jimmy’s doing a great job. Jimmy always has. When Jimmy’s been healthy out there, we’ve had our guys around him, he plays at a high level, and I think he did that today as good as he has.

We’re very fortunate to have him," Shanahan said of Garoppolo's performance. The 49ers now own a positive record, while the Cardinals sit at 4-7 and are in danger of missing out on the playoffs.
