Ex-Patriots QB Scott Zolak: Tom Brady returning is 100% possibility

Former New England Patriots quarterback Scott Zolak believes the possibility of Tom Brady coming out of retirement again is "100% in play." Brady, 45, announced his second retirement from the NFL on February 1st. Earlier this week, NFL insider Rich Eisen reported that he heard the chatter at the NFL combine about Brady coming out of retirement and joining the Miami Dolphins.

"Brady may go to Miami. I think that's in play, I do. I think the possibility of him coming out of retirement is definitely 100% in play," Zolak said, per CBS Sports. After the Eisen report, Brady took to Twitter and jokingly attempted to shut down the rumor: "Anyone who thinks I have time to come back to the NFL has never adopted a 2 month old kitten for their daughter." But Zolak isn't buying Brady's attempt to shut down the comeback rumors.

"You can sit there and look at the kitten tweet from yesterday, don't buy that," Zolak said.

Zolak: Multiple people dropped the hints about a potential Brady comeback

"This isn't me saying it. This isn't someone close to Brady.

It started with Rich Eisen at the Super Bowl. Multiple people dropped the hints. Colin Cowherd, he knows some Fox people," Zolak noted. Earlier this week, Eisen dropped a Brady comeback bombshell. “This one just blew my mind: Tom Brady might not be done after all.

A couple people were just like, ‘Hang on, just you wait.’ And I was like, ‘He’s Instagramming out pictures of his cat.’ But it doesn’t look like he’s getting big and fat, does it?" Eisen said.

In the past, Brady was linked to the Dolphins but nothing happened. When the free agency kicks off, Brady will eligible to sign wherever he wants, if he decides to come out of retirement. Also, Brady lives in Florida so playing for the Dolphins in that regard makes sense as well.
