Aaron Rodgers continues to speak extremely highly of Garrett Wilson, saying the young New York Jets wide receiver reminds him of Davante Adams. Adams, who came to the NFL in 2014, became one of the best wide receivers in the league with Rodgers as his quarterback.

Last offseason, Adams left the Green Bay Packers and Rodgers lost his favorite target in Green Bay. This offseason, Rodgers joined the Jets and now he is set to work with Wilson, who was named the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year last season.

Wilson is considered one of the most talented young receivers in the league and some have been comparing the 23-year-old to six-time Pro Bowl wideout Adams.

Rodgers on Wilson: Reminds me of Adams

"Yeah. Look, I love Davante.

I saw him this summer. Davante is in a category by himself still, but that 17 [Wilson] reminds me of the other 17 [Adams] as far as his [Wilson's] ability to get in and out of breaks and his quick twitch at the line of scrimmage, for sure," Rodgers said when asked if Wilson reminds him of Adams, via CBS Sports.

Many believe that Rodgers' presence can only help Wilson further improve and elevate his game. During their time in Green Bay, Rodgers and Adams formed one of the most formidable duos in the NFL. This week, Wilson was asked if he sees the comparisons between him and Adams.

"Yeah. I grew up watching him play and he was my favorite receiver growing up... I try to take a lot of things from what he did well, but he is special, and you can see the lab work he puts in throughout the offseason and I am trying to get to that point.

His releases, how he gets off the ball, are second to none," Wilson said. The Jets are entering the 2023 season with very high ambitions and Rodgers and Wilson creating a strong duo could be the key in the team enjoying success this coming season.
