It's been 7 days since Tom Brady decided to officially retire from American football. One of the biggest stars and someone who marked an era of the NFL decided it was time for the end. However, there are many who still hope that Tom Brady could change his mind, although the chances of such a thing are relatively low.
On Monday during the "Let's Go!" SiriusXM podcast, Tom Brady was asked by Jim Gray if there is still a possibility for his return
"I'm just gonna take things as they come," Brady said, as quoted by sportsyahoo "I think that's the best way to put it and I don't think anything, you know, you never say never.
At the same time I know that I'm very, I feel very good about my decision. I don't know how I'll feel six months from now."
Tom Brady on his decision
This statement of his left a lot of room for discussion. Brady doesn’t seem to have made the final decision, and time can change things.
The decision he made seems definitive, but there is still a chance that Tom Brady will announce his return. We'll see how realistic that is "I try to make the best possible decision I can in the moment, which I did this last week.
And, again, I think it's not looking to reverse course, I'm definitely not looking to do that." "But in the same time I think you have to be realistic that you never know what challenges there are gonna be in life. Again, I loved playing.
I'm looking forward to doing things other than playing. That's as honest as I can be." Sure, most NFL fans would love to see Tom Brady again, and one such face will be sorely missed, but for now, it seems like it won't happen.
