NHL forward Jonathan Huberdeau is ready for a multi-year contract with a new team, the Calgary Flames. It will be a big challenge in the career of this forward, but he is ready to help his team achieve its greatest goals. Huberdeau is aware that he is not the only one who decides about the future of his team, but that several factors will play a role.
"I still have one more year left on my contract”. “I’m open to staying with the Flames, but at the end of the day, it’s not my decision. It’s my general manager (Brad Treliving) and agent who work this out.
It would be something I’m open about, and obviously, they’re the ones that traded for me. That means they want me. … You want to play for a team that wants you, and that’s all I want”.
MacKenzie Weegar on the team
MacKenzie Weegar, also one of the new faces of the team, is optimistic about his team.
He hopes that they can go to the very end and that they will have a successful season. Weegar also believes that he and Huberdeau can bring a new dimension to the team and that they will be of great help to the team. They are ready to win, and it is certain that they will give their best.
“The team looks really good,”. “For you guys, it’s been an emotional week with the ups and downs of losing two great players. But ‘Huby’ and I coming in, hopefully, you get a little more excitement.
It’s not a rebuild either. We’re here to win, and I think Brad knows that. He wants to win now, and the team wants to win now. Johnny and I are ready to start winning with this team”. The Flames will now have an interesting team. It will be interesting to see them.
