Minnesota Wild defeated the Tampa Bay Lightning 5-1: Reactions

The Minnesota Wild team showed qualities and in the end, they deservedly won against the Tampa Bay Lightning 5-1. Calen Addison was one of the best with a goal and two assists. "I think it's just playing with confidence, moving my feet," Addison said for nhl.com.

"I've been trying to focus on just getting pucks to the net, not necessarily on net, but around the net and just creating chances for the guys." Wild captain Jared Spurgeon is happy about the win, given that they know the quality of the opposing team well.

"You always compare yourself to those teams that go all the way to the end,"-Jared Spurgeon said. "They've been there the last little while, so to be able to put in an effort like that, it's awesome for us." Wild coach Dean Evason is happy with Filip Gustavsson who was great on the goal, but in the end, he had to leave the game due to illness.

"(He) skated off and [got sick],"-Dean Evason said. "Don't know anything else. Obviously, they're evaluating him. Don't know at this point. That was all I was told." Brian Elliott

Brian Elliott was great on the goal

"It's his job," Lightning coach Jon Cooper said talking about Elliott.

"That's why he's probably been in the League so long, because he can handle stuff like that. He's a true pro. He did everything for us tonight, we just didn't score enough." Boldy's slap pass was a topic. "It was kind of a last second play," Boldy said.

"I didn't see much. Just tried to put it anywhere near him. The first thing I said to him was, 'That was pretty insane.' Just to kind of get it, I don't know if he went behind his back with the tip or what he did. It's impressive."
